Does vaginal secretion pass the STI without skin to skin contact?

It depends! Some STIs are transmitted through sexual fluids (semen or vaginal fluids) and some STIs are transmitted through skin to skin (penis, anus, vagina, mouth/throat) contact.

STIs that can be transmitted through sexual fluids are:

Chlamydia

Gonorrhea

Syphilis

HIV

Trichomoniasis

So for these STIs to be transmitted, the sexual fluids would need to make contact with the mucus membrane (penis, anus vagina, mouth/throat).

STIs that can be transmitted through skin to skin contact are:

HPV

Syphilis

Pubic Lice

Herpes

So for these STIs to be transmitted, there needs to be direct skin to skin (penis, anus, vagina, mouth/throat) contact.

Things like condoms and dental dams can help people reduce the risk of STIs during sexual contact.
