I’m a girl and when I masturbate and have an orgasm there is a clear liquid that shoots out of my vagina. is this normal?

The vagina is an organ that is considered self cleaning. This means that is produces and releases fluids. These fluids can help clean out the reproductive system and keep the vagina healthy. When these fluids change for any reason (like the odor, color, consistency, or amount) this can be a sign an infection is present.

In addition to this, vaginas are self lubricating. So, when someone is aroused or “turned on” or if they have an orgasm, it is very common for the vagina to release and produce fluids. Some people may not have very much fluid, and some people may have a lot!

So while we cant say for sure what is going on, it sounds like this fluid is a normal part of the vagina.
