What ages of teens come to this clinic for STD tests or treatment?

Teen Clinic is here for anyone who is under 20 years old. In the state of Colorado, the law says that minors have the right to access sexual healthcare without the consent or notification of their parents. That means they can start a birth control method, get tested or treated for STIs, or get any other sexual healthcare that Teen Clinic provides without their parents being involved at all. In fact, it’s illegal for clinics to share sexual health information with parents (or anyone else!) without an individual’s permission. Teen Clinic offers free or low-cost and confidential sexual health services.

All teens who are 17 and under will receive services for free, where as if someone is 18 or 19, there may be a small fee. You can check out our pricing scale here. Learn more about Teen Clinic and what someone can expect when visiting us here.

There is no minimum age limit at Teen Clinic, but if there is a particularly young patient coming in, they may receive a little bit more counseling to ensure they’re making healthy decisions.
