The shot is an injection of hormones given every three months. It is administered by a medical provider into your arm or hip.
HOW WELL DOES IT WORK?
With typical use, the shot is 97% effective. If used correctly, consistently and all of the time, the shot can be up to 99.7% effective. The shot does not prevent against any STIs!
